LORI WELSH

Senior Accountant

Lori graduated cum laude from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1990.  She earned her CPA by working as a corporate accountant for a Fortune 100 corporation based in Atlanta, GA.  Lori was involved in the team implementing corporate shared accounting services, designing accounting processes, and implementing software systems which led to her career with Deloitte Consulting. At Deloitte, she assisted clients in the manufacturing, consumer products, and technology industries with implementations of Enterprise Resource Planning systems including SAP and Oracle.  In the role of management consultant, Lori collaborated with key client stakeholders in developing accounting processes, managing data conversions , and configuring software systems to support corporate financial reporting needs.  For the past 10 years, Lori has served as Controller for a business in Birmingham, AL managing all aspects of producing financial statements, as well as supporting integration points of procurement, sales, and inventory management systems.

I have been building websites & apps for over a decade and have done everything from providing middle-of-the-night on-call support to managing the development of insurance quoting apps.

Today, I build websites for businesses across a variety of industries and consult on website development, information architecture, and digital marketing strategy.

Regardless of size, my primary focus is helping businesses communicate their brand story—and connect with their audiences on the web—by creating engaging digital experiences.
