DOUGLAS C. SELLERS

Managing Director


Douglas co-founded an investment banking firm in 1987 and served as the Chief Financial Officer until the successful sale in 2014 to a New York Stock Exchange listed company. His responsibilities included the negotiation and management of various credit facilities and banking relationships for the firm as well as the related companies of the firm’s parent company. He was also active in the guidance and subsequent sale of several of the affiliated businesses. His association with Redmont began in 2017 as an Advisory Board member.

Mr. Sellers received a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama. His involvement with the University continues through his membership for over twenty years on the President’s Cabinet as well as his former involvement as a member of the Board of Visitors of the Culverhouse School of Business. Douglas has also served on various board of directors including non profit boards Children’s Harbor, Brantwood Children’s Home, and the American Red Cross of Central Alabama.

Doug holds the following FINRA licenses: Series 7, 24, 27, 63, & 79.
