EMILY KEY

Senior Accountant

Emily is a third generation accounting-major graduate of the University of Alabama. Her bean counting comes as naturally as cheering Roll Tide. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2004 and earned her Master of Accountancy in 2005. Emily began her career in the audit practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC in Birmingham. Her focus was on insurance and the financial services industry.

After a move to Kentucky, Emily switched gears to the nonprofit sector, where she served as the Director of Finance at a community foundation. Emily’s focus there was on program budgeting, financial reporting, and fund accounting. Now back at home in Birmingham, Emily strives to provide excellent accounting support services for her clients at Redmont Advisory Group.

Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, playing women’s league tennis, water skiing at the lake, and running with her dog Gus.

I have been building websites & apps for over a decade and have done everything from providing middle-of-the-night on-call support to managing the development of insurance quoting apps.

Today, I build websites for businesses across a variety of industries and consult on website development, information architecture, and digital marketing strategy.

Regardless of size, my primary focus is helping businesses communicate their brand story—and connect with their audiences on the web—by creating engaging digital experiences.
